Gerry George, DMD
Dr. George is looking forward to getting to know you and your family. The unique relationship between dentist and patient was the basis for his decision to jump into the dental field. Open communication is key to developing that relationship and he loves spending time talking with each patient he meets.
It’s rare for a profession to combine a love for science, developing relationships, and hands on skill, but those three aspects are what make Dr. George’s career in dentistry something he is passionate about, and why he enjoy being am able to provide that for a community he cares deeply about.
Dr. George graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. He then enrolled in dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina and graduated in 2015. After graduating, he worked in Seneca, SC until moving back to the Lowcountry in 2016.
During his time in school Dr. George was fortunate to come in contact with many dentists who devote their time out of the office to giving back. Those lessons he learned in school, still carry through today as he volunteers at the East Cooper Community Outreach dental clinic and participates in international mission trips.
In addition to my formal schooling Dr. George prioritizes continuing education. As a clinician he feels it is important to stay up to date with the ever-evolving world of techniques and materials to provide the best treatment for his patients.
Dr. George truly loves living in the Lowcountry and when not in the office he enjoys exercising, listening to lectures, traveling, checking out new restaurants, and trying his hand at cooking with his wife Stephanie Jean.
